The Ask: The Amazon Freight Partner program is reinventing the CDL-A truck driver experience by partnering with Amazon for long-term growth and success. The program offers truckers a better work-life balance by being home daily, the ability to work a consistent schedule and haul drop-and-hook freight. We were asked to show women how being an AFP driver is a viable and fulfilling career choice that can tangibly improve their day-to-day lives by telling empowering stories of real truckers.

My Role: We created License to Thrive: an episodic five-video series that followed a narrative formula showing how truckers overcame certain barriers to entry by driving for an Amazon Freight Partner. Alongside these videos, we also ran an influencer campaign, paid ads, and social content. I lead all copy needs as follows:

  • Interviewing truckers and scripting five YouTube videos that each highlighted a different driver and sometimes AFP owner as well.

  • Writing captions for social content (45+ posts) across Instagram and TikTok.

  • Scripting 6 paid YouTube ads using content captured for our 5 organic YouTube videos.

  • Writing headlines and captions for organic YouTube videos, paid YouTube ads, and paid Meta influencer ads.
